Personal Opinion

Facebook is still popular?

I didn't think that Facebook was still growing but I guess it is. As of last week Facebook has reached it's 1 billionth user. I think that more adults go on Facebook than kids because parents want to keep intouch with their relatives and friends from college. I thought that teens were starting to forget about Facebook and lean more towards Twitter. I also think that the younger population has something to do with the Facebook growth because they are probably too young to understand the whole concept of Twitter, so they just stick to Facebook. From my personal experience with Facebook lately, the majority of the 'timeline' is kids younger than a high school student.

I also see more commercial use on Facebook when I actually go on. Everything on Facebook has an app, and a lot of company's use Facebook to connect with their customers, by setting a Facebook page, that people can either like or follow. In the next couple years I think that the Facebook population will go downhill while the Twitter world rises.
